Welcome to Pomodoro Timer, an Android application designed to help you manage focused work sessions, breaks, tasks, and productivity habits using the Pomodoro technique.

Data Collection and Use

Pomodoro Timer is designed to work primarily on your device. The app stores feature data locally so it can provide timer recovery, session history, streaks, task progress, reminders, and personalization settings.

The app may store the following information locally on your device:

• Timer settings such as work, short break, and long break durations
• Current timer state so active sessions can be restored after reopening the app
• Focus session history, daily minutes, weekly trends, and streak metrics
• Task names, selected task, and completed Pomodoro counts
• Onboarding, reminder, theme, accent color, haptic, and sound preferences

We do not operate our own backend service for this app and we do not sell your personal data.

Crash Reporting

Crash reporting is optional and is disabled unless the app is built with a Sentry configuration. When enabled, technical diagnostic information about crashes and errors may be sent to Sentry to help improve app stability.

Permissions Used

• android.permission.WAKE_LOCK: Helps keep the device awake while timing-related work is active.
• android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Allows the app to notify you when a focus session or break ends.
• android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE: Declared for Android timer-related reliability support.
• android.permission.SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: Allows Android to schedule timer completion alerts accurately, including when the app is not in the foreground.
• android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: Allows scheduled timer alarms to be restored by Android after device reboot when supported by the system.

Notifications and Reminders

If you grant notification permission, the app can send local notifications when a focus session or break completes. Smart reminder suggestions are generated from your on-device session history and are not sent to our servers.

Advertising

Pomodoro Timer does not include advertising SDKs and does not show third-party ads.

Children's Privacy

Pomodoro Timer is not directed toward children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Data Retention

Data stored by the app remains on your device unless you remove it. You can clear this data by uninstalling the app or clearing app storage through your device settings.
